Track Biography:
There will be two meetings held at the Tattersalls venue this Autumn season, with the Meath & Tara's holding the first fixture in October and then the Louth Hunt will return holding their annual autumn fixture in December.
Racing enthusiasts have acknowledged it as a firm fixture in the autumn point-to-point calendar.
Set on over 220 acres of lush green Meath countryside, a huge amount of work takes place throughout the year by Eugene O’ Neill and his team at Tattersalls to ensure the track is in excellent condition for all that come through the gate. Tattersalls host a number of equestrian national and international events throughout the year and can offer the best equestrian facilities in the world. Tattersalls can offer the competitors permanent on-site stabling facilities.
How To Get There
By Road
Take the M1 to Drogheda, turn right onto R152 sign posted for Duleek, Ashbourne and Ratoath. Follow signposts for Tayto Park on right hand side – a further 10 minute drive.
From Dublin
Take the M3 sign posted for Cavan / Navan. At the M3 train station take the R147 followed by the R155.
From the N7
Take the M50 North (sign posted Dublin Airport). Take the first exit after the toll bridge - M3 exit (sign posted Blanchardstown / Cavan). At the M3 train station take the R147 followed by the R155.
By Air
Dublin Airport is located within very close proximity; about a 30 minute drive from the course.

BALLYKAN was second in the opening four-year-old race of the season at Castletown and the fourth has since won so this looks to be very reliable form where this fellow should come out on top. Native Gamut was second in a fair looking late season Ballingarry maiden and may be next best but both have entries at Loughanmore also so may not need to meet. Champagne Express was a promising third on his debut and sent off favourite so there could be more to come from him.

Reigns Of Glory has ability at this level but is returning from an absence. FLYNSINI is very consistent and very much deserves his chance to open his account. If fit for this seasonal return his form stands out. Count Massini was second on this course last time so should go well while Jack Aboo was second on his last two outings and wont be far away. Laurel Park is interesting on bumper form from Punchestown but has to overcome a notable absence.

PRESENTING TAUPO looked set to be second to the useful looking Presenting Lisa at Loughrea before falling at the last and she should be hard to beat here on that form. She has the measure of Secret Cave on that form. Macetown Gale has a narrow edge over Galboystown Lady when both ran well at Castletown recently while Glendars Breeze showed promise at Tinahely when third recently. Why Ask me is of interest also as she looked a decent mare when finishing second on a number of occasions and also has some notable track form so on her best is a danger also.
