Track Biography:
The Tipperary foxhounds are one of the oldest packs in Ireland, dating back to 1820. The pack was formed by The Bartons who reside in Grove, which is only two minutes from the point-to-point.
The Tipperary foxhounds hold two point-to-points each year on the same popular and well-appointed track in the spring and in the autumn. The track is on undulating land and can be used both right and left handed, with an extension added in 2020.
Entries traditionally are large at the popular track, giving a great day of sport with divided races. Many winners at the track have gone on to make great names for themselves including Cheltenham foxhunter winners On The Fringe and Salsify.
How To Get There
By Road
From Dublin – Take the M7 from the city and follow the road until you see signs for the M8. Turn off the M8 at Cashel and follow signs for Fethard. Three miles before Fethard you will see signs for the point-to-point.
From Clonmel - Take the R689 north until you see signs for the track.
By Air
Our point-to-point is located an hour and a half from Cork airport and two hours from Dublin airport.

BROWN PADDY showed plenty of promise last season on his only outing when third at Ballindenisk so could be ready to win now. Marquis Of Carabas showed promise last season when finishing fourth to Rathnure Rebel will be the main danger. Another one with some decent placed form that deserves a mention is Inchiquin All Star. Sky Full Of Stars showed promise last week and looks well capable of stepping up on that debut.

Her stable companion Classic Palace was second last Sunday and looks set to go close very soon also and get off the mark but it is likely only one will run. Secret Cave was well beaten last time but has enough placed form to make her an each way option here.

Florida Calling has lacked any luck in running last season so perhaps a new season will ensure he is given a clear path and is capable of running a big race here. Sea Buckthorn was third on two of his three outings last season while Galveston was a promising fourth at Lismore on his debut. Killowen is another one to watch, he could step up from his promising run the last day.

DEFINITE ANSWER ran a cracker on his debut when only beaten 8l in a bumper behind Wrath Of Titans and that would make him hard to beat if he takes to pointing here. Oberon Blue was fourth at Grennan last time and has the track form to suggest there is more to come and could be one to side with here. Wemayaswell was second on his penultimate start so a reproduction of his best would make him an option also. Inchivara looks an interesting type with some decent track form under his belt.

MISS OSCAROSE won last time at Affane in a competitive contest and looks one of the better mares at this level this season so could take all the beating. Carrigeen Acebo was very impressive last Saturday at Glenbane and has the measure of Miss Speedy on that form and could be the main danger to the selection. All At Once has to turn the table with the selection as she was only a few lengths behind while Mandy Carroll is not quite running to her best but would be a danger on her top form. Isourbell has been running well against the geldings this season is will go close here.

MILLFIRTH was third at Corbeagh House on debut in a useful looking maiden of its type which makes him banker material here to go on and win. Shanes Star was disappointing last time but before that ran well in a Grennan maiden so a return to that could see him involved. Laurel Park was fourth last time at Affane and comes here in good form so will expect to go very close also. Majestic Preacher looks best of the rest.
