Track Biography:
The Tipperary foxhounds are one of the oldest packs in Ireland, dating back to 1820. The pack was formed by The Bartons who reside in Grove, which is only two minutes from the point-to-point.
The Tipperary foxhounds hold two point-to-points each year on the same popular and well-appointed track in the spring and in the autumn. The track is on undulating land and can be used both right and left handed, with an extension added in 2020.
Entries traditionally are large at the popular track, giving a great day of sport with divided races. Many winners at the track have gone on to make great names for themselves including Cheltenham foxhunter winners On The Fringe and Salsify.
How To Get There
By Road
From Dublin – Take the M7 from the city and follow the road until you see signs for the M8. Turn off the M8 at Cashel and follow signs for Fethard. Three miles before Fethard you will see signs for the point-to-point.
From Clonmel - Take the R689 north until you see signs for the track.
By Air
Our point-to-point is located an hour and a half from Cork airport and two hours from Dublin airport.

The Colin Bowe pairing of MINELLA BEAU and Farm The Rock both finished third on their latest outings with the preference given to the former, who acquitted himself very well when running promisingly for a long way before tiring into a close third in the closing stages. This well-bred type should be tough to beat. Bigpipenotobacee was well-supported before falling at Mainstown last Sunday and that confidence may be worth following again as he makes a quick re-appearance, hailing from a very much in-form yard.

TELMADELA went down by the narrowest of margins at Glenbane last month and so he has to be highly fancied to take a deserved maiden success here on his third career start. The Black Robin finished just behind recent Lingstown winner Breezemount at Rockfield, and as that form line has worked out well, he will offer a stiff challenge to the selection. Burgees View has finished placed on his last two starts, whilst Minella Style ran with credit to take second at Tinahely in October and both have claims.

FORTUNE BOUND is a thoroughly consistent performer who has finished placed six times including on his last four starts on the bounce. He is most deserving of a maiden success which this race may present him with. Flahertys Gap is another with placed form to his name and he was unfortunate to come down at the third last at Lingstown recently whilst still holding strong chances and this brings him into the reckoning. Indian Empire looks next best on his Dromahane third, however he was well held by the selection at Boulta.

AGENT FOR CHAOS has now finished second on his last two starts which have come in similar grade races which will have left him perfectly positioned to take this. Make It Count and Whole Nine Yards have both posted decent efforts on their most recent competitive outings which would bring them into contention, whilst Luckys Lily ran well for a long way at Corbeah House last time before falling and being re-mounted, so she should be given greater credit for that than her finishing position suggests.
