Track Biography:
Ballyarthur point-to-point racing provides a fun day out for family and friends in the Irish countryside, where you will get to witness the future stars of the racing industry make their introduction into competitive racing.
This year Kilworth & Araglen point-to-point returns their 2016 course at Ballyarthur.
Located a stones throw from Fermoy town, racing is sure to bring a great crowd and promises to be a fabulous day racing !
How To Get There
From Cork
Take the N8 out of Crok city and get on the M8 towards Dublin/Fermoy. Follow the M8, take exit 14 from the M8 on to the R639 to Fermoy/Kilworth. Before the Amber Station take a right (L1512).
From Dublin
Take the N7/N8 out of Dublin towards Limirck/Cork. Follow M7 & M8 towards Cork. Take exit 14 from the M8 on to the R639 to Fermoy/Kilworth. Before the Amber Station take a right (L1512).
By Air
Our point-to-point is located forty minutes from Cork airport and an hour and a half from Shannon airport.

The daughter of Indian Danehill also finished in front of what will likely be her main danger in Bennys Girl when the pair met at Belclare 12 months ago. Bennys Girl has the advantage of recent race fitness and comes into the race off the back of a hard fought victory at Ballyvodock, whilst Misty Mai is next best.

IRISH MUSTARD does have to overcome a 12 month absence if he is to get off the mark here, however the promise of his second-placing at Kildorrery on debut is sufficient enough to give him the upper hand. Dick Darsie has finished placed in races won by Gurteen and It Came To Pass, and both horses have since boosted that form significantly, whilst Pocket Talk finished second behind Glencarrig Lad who won again last Sunday and that form brings him into the reckoning.
