Track Biography:
Boulta point-to-point is run on the lands of the Mulcahy family, which is also a popular schooling grounds. The first point-to-point at Boulta was held in 2002 and since then they have played host to many point-to-point committees.
Given the fine track that it is, it is no surprise that it has thrown up some leading performers over the years, including a number of notable mares' such as the Colin Bowe pairing of Our Victoria and Askanna, 2010 Irish National winner Bluesea Cracker, and most recently Ms Parfois. Cheltenham Festival winner Ballyalton is another Boulta victor to go on to future big race success.

From Midleton– Take the Dungourney road towards Tallow and you will see signs for the track on your left.
From Tallow - Take the road towards Dungourney and you will see signs for the track on your right.
From Fermoy- Take the road towards Conna or Ballynoe and follow local signs for the track.

AYELOOLA is entered in both of the four-year-old mares maidens this weekend, and whichever engagement she takes up, she will likely be tough to beat having fallen at the final fence at Dromahane on her debut last month whilst still very much in contention. Lostin A Fog is closely matched with that rival on their Dromahane run, however she did have the benefit of a previous run prior to that Dromahane run, whilst Blazing Trail is one of the eye-catching newcomers as she hails from the in-form Henry De Bromhead stable.

Of those with a previous run under their belt, Broken Quest enters the race with course form to his name having finished third behind Eviscerating last month, although his finishing position was aided by final fence fallers and is may therefore be worth siding with Tom Keating-trained De Rasher Counter who had fallen earlier in that same contest. He looks a progressive type who has run in some competitive races to date.

HOLY TERROR may be the one to side with in a tricky looking race on paper as he makes a quick re-appearance having run last Sunday at Lisronagh. Worryingly he has failed to complete his latest two starts owing to jumping errors, however if he was to post a clear round of jumping, he has shown enough ability in the past to take a race of this nature. Rocking Dj will likely not be far away having finished third last Sunday and he could be the main danger.
