DANSE AWAY finished just a length in arrears of On The Blind Side on his penultimate start, with that horse subsequently being bought for 205,000 pounds recently. Meanwhile three subsequent maiden winners have also emerged from in behind him in that Kilfeacle contest to further advertise that form. De Rasher Counter has twice finished in the placings, whilst Myoldman was unlucky at Kirkistown earlier this month, as he exited the race whilst still travelling well.

OSCAR WINNER was sent off as a short-priced favourite ahead of her third career outing at Dromahane over Christmas. Whilst she ultimately finished a well-held second, she is open to further improvement. Dalus King was sent off as the favourite at Kildorrery last Sunday before unshipping prior to the race really developing. He has finished placed five-times in the past and chased home Ruairis Cloud in this contest 12 months ago and a bold showing is expected in this years renewal.

The Enda Bolger-trained WISH YE DIDNT has won each of the last two runnings of the Ladies Cup over the Cross Country course at the Punchestown Festival and she can be expected to have come on for re-appearance run in the big Hunter Chase at Leopardstown on Gold Cup day which saw her come down at the final fence. Glenwood Knight could make a quick re-appearance, however he has been running consistently in more competitive races and could land a blow, whilst Murdo MacKenzie could be the main danger if reproducing his Dromahane effort from Christmas.

BABYTAGGLE has finished in the frame in two of his last three starts and this could well be an opportunity for him to get off the mark here. Troll Doudairies had a good opportunity to score at Kildorrery last Sunday, but unshipped his rider. A clean round of jumping will surely bring him into the mix alongside the likes of Deise Dougal, Coach Road and Rwegoinhigh who all have placed efforts to their name.

It will be very disappointing if NOTNOKAMI cannot get off the mark here as she drops back in grade having posted a very eye-catching performance to finish second against previous winners at Ballyvodock. Merchant Lass may well be her biggest danger as she finished third on debut behind Auntie Mary last month. Honest To Goodness is turned out quickly having ran well against geldings in hunt company last Sunday, whilst Rock On Boradway is not without place claims.

MURDO MACKENZIE has proven himself at a higher level having finished within half-a-length of Sydney Paget at Dromahane in Open company over Christmas. A repeat of that performance would see him as a tough sort to oppose. The wide-margin Dungarvan maiden winner Jammin Masters only went down by a head at Oldtown and is the big danger, whilst wide margin Kildorrery winner West Cork Golan, Hugo N Taz and Smithscorner all won their maidens in good style and are more than capable of getting involved here.
