ASKCALIE put in a much improved effort when beaten eight-lengths at Inch earlier this month. The daughter of Ask improved noticeably for the better ground and looked the type that is well capable of winning a maiden such as this. Tillythetank could represent the in-form Donnchadh Doyle string as the trainer goes in search of his eighth four-year-old winner of the season. This mare finished third on debut and is almost assured to improve on that performance. The Aidan Fitzgerald -trained newcomer Inajiffy is likely to be pretty forward on debut and the market should prove informative to what is expected from her.

KNOCKOURA has posted two solid efforts to date, finishing a close-up second on both occasions. Trained by Roisin Hickey, the Westerner gelding was beaten by a decent sort in Celtic Rising last time out, a horse that has gone on to sell for 60,000 euros at the Tattersalls Cheltenham sales in February. If continuing to build on that form, he should be tough to beat here. Bardista finished third on debut for Andrew Latta form which looks pretty solid at this early stage. He rates a danger alongside Garrane and Getaway Bay.

Galloping Gander got to within a head of leading pointer Ourmanmassini last weekend and a reproduction of that effort from Eugene O Sullivans charge would see him go very close here. Garrett Aherns horse unseated at Dromahane when last seen between the flags but had earlier shown enough to make her of interest here. Stetsonsnstilettos represents the in-form Colin Bowe team and she ran her best race to date when finishing third at Stradbally recently. She is likely to be involved along with Sweet Lady Jane for trainer William Burke.

SPECIAL PREP was freshened up with a break having finished second in a four-year-old maiden at Grennan in November. The Brian Boru gelding made a successful return at Stradbally last weekend to finally shed his maiden tag for trainer Willie Codd. He is likely to improve for that reappearance and looks the one to side with here. Lord Getaway was unlucky not to make it two wins in a row at Largy recently and the final fence faller on that occasion is sure to make a bold bid once again for trainer Colin Bowe. Noruki and Wilcosdiana look best of the rest.

Trained by Sean Byrne, the Rajj gelding moved smoothly into the race on his debut, ultimately losing out by two-lengths to Pop The Champers, who has since given the form a nice boost by running out a 12-length winner at Ballysteen last weekend. Tippinawaynow, Mushera Mor and Abbey Street are the ones likely to profit should the selection disappoint.
