OSCAR FLAME made his debut in a very competitive Dromahane maiden which was won by the impressive Mr Lingo, and it may just be the worth following him here. Risky Gold did not finish far away in three outings last spring on a variety of surfaces. That experience will certainly stand to him here on his seasonal re-appearance and he can be expected to be there or there abouts, whilst Mayhill and Order In Court, are others to have shown promise to date.

SCHUMAKER went close to causing a big upset around here in March, as he was outrunning his price when coming down at the final fence whilst disputing the lead. A second consecutive fall at Bellurgan Park has seen him return as a maiden, and providing he posts a clean round of jumping, he would be a deserving winner. Scottshill is another horse with a good deal of experience behind him and he put in a career best at Casltetown-Geoghegan. Captain Cook went close in a British point last April and could be of note, alongside Carcano and Some Response.

There was plenty of money behind ABSAINTE when she made her seasonal re-appearance at Loughanmore earlier this month, and she almost got off the mark, only going down by half-a-length to a capable sort. That should leave her spot on for this. Lovefromabove had finished third around here in March, however she was well-held by the selection at Loughanmore more recently and will need to step-up to beat her. Questionation ran quite well on her first start over obstacles earlier this month and she can be expected to improve.

OURMANMASSINI and Eddies Miracle are closely matched on their meeting at Kinsale late last season and the pair finished after each other in an ultra-competitive affair at Castletown-Geoghegan on the opening day of the season. Sizing Coal is the big threat to that pair, as he is a former Leinster National winner was fancied to run well in last seasons Becher Chase over the National fences at Aintree, only to take a heavy fall at Valentines, whilst Mtada Supreme is a previous Punchestown Festival winner returning to point-to-points.

The Jim Dreaper-trained SIZINGDOWNTHERHINE chased home last seasons champion mare in a closely run affair in the Wexford Hunter Chase last November, and he can likely return to winning ways here on that form. Captain CJ has the measure of Manetti on their run at Loughanmore earlier this month, and this improving sort, who has the advantage of race fitness, will really put it up to the selection. One Cool Clarkson finished second in this races 12 months ago behind subsequent winner Talkischeap on what was his sole appearance between the flags last season, and he can once again be expected to get involved.

ANOTHER DAY DONE, a horse who was running in bumpers during the summer, ran well at a big price on his return between the flags at Loughanmore recently, as he was only headed by the promising mare, Milan Dancer, in the closing stages. Compensation can be claimed here. Templepoint has a 12-length deficit with the selection to overturn with the selection from that Loughanmore run, and he looks the main danger.
