Track Biography:
The point-to-point course is located at Loughanmore, Dunadry near Templepatrick.
Our landowner, Wilson Dennison has owned and produced a number of top-class national hunt horses including graded winners Yorkhill, Shaneshill, and Bellshill.
Our point-to-point is proud to have launched the career of many talented young horses who have gone on to make six figure sums at the horse-in-training sales in both Ireland and the UK. Some of the leading names include the Cheltenham festival winner Ted Veale and the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Truckers Tavern.
Its reputation as one of the premier tracks in the country, ensures that is has a particularly strong recent roll of honour, with the four-year-old maiden that is run at their Easter fixture really standing up to the test of time.

How To Get There
By Road
From Belfast– Take the M2 to the international airport exit. Turn left to Templepatrick and take the third exit off the first roundabout. Once you pass the Hilton Hotel take the first road on the left.
By Air
Loughanmore point-to-point is located 15 minutes from Belfast International airport and 25 minutes from George Best airport.

In our bookmakers ring you can view and bet on any off-course races on the day in both Britain and Ireland.

No, we do not have an official dress code we just advise our race goers to stay warm and dry for your days racing and to prepare yourself for all types of Irish weather.
Yes, we allow dogs to attend the point-to-point. However, we do ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times.
Yes, we welcome visitors to bring their own picnics. We also have a range of catering options on course if you would like to pick up something at the races.
Yes, we have a bouncing castle.
No, we do not provide an ATM so we recommend that you make a stop at an ATM on your way to the races.

Loughanmore point-to-point is the perfect day out for the family in the Northern Ireland countryside, and as an added bonus for parents all children U16 have free admission.
We also provide race cards with each admission on the day.
Our point-to-point is located only a few miles from Lough Neagh which is the largest lake in the British Isles, with a surface area of 151 square miles.

With a very big entry having been assembled for this race, it looks set to divide with CASTLE TRUMP, a 60,000 euro store who finished a close second on debut at Dromahane last month, sure to be one of the leading contenders. POGUE was let down by a costly final fence error on debut at Dawstown, and if turned out quickly here, just five days later, he could be worth following. Old Rascals had to settle for second behind a very much above average winner at Monksgrange in testing conditions recently, and is a big danger alongside Ask Robin who had finished second to track winner Dicey O Reilly on debut before disappointing slightly on his seasonal reappearance at Templencarriga over Christmas. It would not be a surprise to see him bounce back here. Oscar Academy, Chain Smoker and Skyhill are others to haver shown promise.

An intriguing race which pitches the winning four-year-old MADIBA PASSION against his older and more experienced rivals. The Al Namix gelding just clung on to win at Punchestown over the shorter 2m4f trip from a horse that has since sold for big money, and he should be able to double up here. Some Response has turned a big corner since winning his maiden here at Easter and will be there to expose any weaknesses in the selection, alongside fellow two-time winner Pacte In The Park, who is another big danger.
