Track Biography:

The track is situated on the banks of the picturesque river Suir.

It is being held on the grounds of the Kavanagh and Larkin families in the townland of Knockinroe.

Our point to point was formally held at Fairyhill, Templemore and only recently moved to its now location in 2017.

In the late 70's and early 80's these grounds were used by local trainers namely William Harney and Lesley Young on a regular basis to gallop their horses which proved successful for them on a regular basis.

On a summers day the Devils Bit Mountain provides a view of 8 surrounding counties! There are many loops for hikers to choose from.
