Track Biography:

The Killeagh Point to Point race meeting has been held on the land of Joe and Bernie Hennessy at Knockane for over 30 years will be unveiling their new track at Carrigarostig which is located two mile east of it's previous track.

It is one of the most accessible Point to Point courses in Ireland with its location only 1.5 miles off the N25 (Cork/Waterford Road) with the excellent road network leading from all corners of the country.

The Committee of Killeagh Point to Point has a large number of racing aficionados from the local community including Owners, Trainers, Breeders and Jockeys to name a few that help to make Killeagh Point to Point as successful as it is. Local volunteers contribute their free time to the committee who take pride in the fact that the sport is thriving in rural Ireland.

Our fixture typically draws a large entry each year with horses and trainers all over Ireland running their horses here at our track.  For more information, check out our Facebook page Killeagh Point to Point or Twitter @KilleaghP2P
