Track Biography:
The point-to-point course is located at Loughanmore, Dunadry near Templepatrick.
Our landowner, Wilson Dennison has owned and produced a number of top-class national hunt horses including graded winners Yorkhill, Shaneshill, and Bellshill.
Our point-to-point is proud to have launched the career of many talented young horses who have gone on to make six figure sums at the horse-in-training sales in both Ireland and the UK. Some of the leading names include the Cheltenham festival winner Ted Veale and the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Truckers Tavern.
Its reputation as one of the premier tracks in the country, ensures that is has a particularly strong recent roll of honour, with the four-year-old maiden that is run at their Easter fixture really standing up to the test of time.

By Road
From Belfast– Take the M2 to the international airport exit. Turn left to Templepatrick and take the third exit off the first roundabout. Once you pass the Hilton Hotel take the first road on the left.
By Air
Loughanmore point-to-point is located 15 minutes from Belfast International airport and 25 minutes from George Best airport.

Combined with extensive free parking we have a number of natural and man-made banks to help with viewing.
As the parking is in the centre of the course you are never too far from the action. This also provides an ideal spot to enjoy a picnic while you enjoy the racing.
Disabled parking and toilets are provided at the track which allows all race goers to enjoy their days racing.
In our bookmakers ring you can view and bet on any off-course races on the day in both England and Ireland.

We offer a variety of catering options.
Our outside food caterers are located beside the parade ring and bookies and they sell an array of hot food options such as burgers, chips, sausages and chicken goujons.
If you would like to satisfy your sweet tooth we have a doughnut stall and an extensive sweet and chocolate stand that sells a selection of delicious goodies.
If you would a treat for the day we also have an ice-cream van in attendance.

Soft drinks and juices can be purchased from our outside catering outlet.
If you would like something a little stronger to keep you warm during your days racing, alcohol can be purchased in our on-course bar.
No, we do not have an official dress code we just advise our race goers to stay warm and dry for your days racing and to prepare yourself for all types of Irish weather.
Dogs are very welcome, but need to be kept on a lead at all times.
Yes, we welcome visitors to bring their own picnics or refreshments. We also have a range of catering options on course if you don?t fancy packing a picnic for the day.
At our point-to-point, we are lucky to have wide open spaces for children to play in a safe environment.
No we do not provide an ATM so we recommend that you make a stop in Templepatrick on your way to the races.

Star Of Diamonds showed a good deal of improvement in between his opening two runs and if he continues in that vein will surely be involved in the shake-up alongside the Loughrea fourth All Star Boy. Newcomers dominate the entries and they are worth a serious market inspection.

AMBUSH ANNIE returns to the pointing fields for what will be her stable debut following a fruitless stint with Neil Mulholland. Prior to that she had twice finished second in points, including behind a subsequent bumper winner and is the one to beat here. All Loved Up is running in this race for the third time and pulled-up in this 12 months ago, but did improve to place later in the campaign, whilst Sky Luna looked to enjoy good ground when second at Stradbally in May.

WALLACE OLINGER is a half-brother to the Grade 1 winning Bob Olinger, and he made the perfect start to his career with a 50-length victory at Loughrea a fortnight ago. This will be more of a test for him, but it was hard not to be impressed by his debut. Intersky Sunset had the measure of the re-opposing Global Assembly when recording the second success of her career at Castletown-Geoghegan on the opening day of the season and that pair rank as the big dangers.

BEAUS CANDLE bumped into what looked like an above-average winner for this age division at Castletown-Geoghegan on the opening day of the season and he could go one place better here to continue a good start to the season by Declan Queally who could also be represented by the long absent Dont Matter Now, a horse that twice finished placed in maiden hurdles when with Noel Kelly. Jet Patrol was only denied by a head at Stowlin in the spring and is another to have changed stables recently, whilst Coothill and Josies Dylan are others that cannot be discounted.
