WALKING ON A DREAM would have finished third but for coming down at the final fence on his debut in Quakerstown last November in a race where the first two horses were both subsequently sold for six-figure prices. He could gain compensation here. Of the dangers, Simply The Bestone comes here from a career best at Nenagh, but it could be Line Em Up that is the biggest threat after he was narrowly denied in a dramatic Comea contest on debut.

After filling the runners-up spot in each of her two outings to date, DEAR ORLA would be a worthy winner of this, with her latest defeat coming following a final fence blunder in Tallow. Red Night Sky was behind her on that occasion, Down The Park has been placed in a bumper, whilst The Big Westerner is an eye-catching newcomer as she is a half-sister of the Cheltenham Festival winner Stay Away Fay, who also started off pointing for the same connections.

KING ALEX has been a model of consistency since moving to open company this season and his connections could have found a nice opportunity for him to swiftly back up his Kildorrery third from last Sunday. First Touch was only beaten three lengths on his return from a lengthy absence in Comea and is entitled to have taken a step forward, whilst Sean Says won against her own sex in Ballyvodock last time and is not without her chance.

MINERS BRIDGE was holding every chance when falling at the final fence in Bellharbour last time, and providing that has not left its mark, he could make amends here. Sophie Gold hacked up at Comea and there is likely more to come from her, whilst Castle Croiuil and Bartlemy Boy are another pair of last time out maiden winners to consider.
