The subsequent Grade 1 winner Finians Oscar is the last four-year-old maiden winner that Denis Murphy has saddled at this venue, but he could double his tally here with THE BIG CLUBMAN. The Affinisea gelding was closely matched with subsequent Tyrella scorer Baldwin The Brave when falling at the last in Bellharbour on debut, and could bounce back here. Count Of Vendome caught the eye at Borris House when making late headway from an unlikely position, whilst Supreme George represents a stable that had a winner in this age group last weekend.

It could be hard to side away from WALKING ON A DREAM here as he has shown plenty of potential in his opening two starts to date including when left in front two-out at Borris House last time, only to get tired in the closing stages in a race that clocked a quick time. He should go one better here. The Colin Bowe pair of Chasingouttheblues and Devilsinthedetails both bring a solid level of form into this, as to does the Farmacaffley runner-up Takt De Touques.

This does not look to be the most straightforward puzzle to solve but SUITABLY SURPRISED having been running to a solid level of form, including at Lingstown a fortnight ago when finishing a fair fourth. Ar Aghaidh is back in this sphere following a stint over hurdles, and she was not disgraced at Fairyhouse in November, whilst Lucky Lioness may be capable of more than what she produced at Borris House last time, as it was her first run in ten months.

David Christie looks to have a strong hand on this with stablemates WINGED LEADER and Vaucelet both holding strong claims. The former is a two-time winner around here, including in this race last year when he prevailed by over 27 lengths. Having comfortably had the measure of the potentially re-opposing Jay Bee Why, himself a course winner in the autumn, he looks to be the one to beat. The Jam Man and Royal Rondezvous are two horses that have changed stables since we last saw them and they could both get involved.

JOSIES DYLAN has hit the crossbar in both starts since changing stables, but he could have his turn here at the expense of Some Bro who was himself only narrowly touched off at Tyrella on his latest outing in what was a return to form from the son of Sageburg. Of the others, Glencorp bumped into what appeared to be an above-average winner in the age group at Kirkistown last month, whilst Myleno has changed stables since his last run.

A case can be made for plenty of these, as it looks like a competitive contest on paper, but BALLYPHILIP could be the one to side with as he goes in search of the hat-trick following two impressive successes at Farmacaffley and Kirkistown, and there seems to be more to come from him. There were five lengths between the returning Wallace Olinger and Voleur De Terres at Loughanmore in the autumn, whilst Victor Tango won easily on debut and cannot be dismissed.
